To Configure the ISO
Conversion

From C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\ConstructSim
V8i\ConstructSim, run CSimDPConfiguration.exe.

In the VCM Data Processing Configuration dialog, enter the Server
Name and Database Name.

Click the
ISO Converter Settings button.
The ISO Data Source dialog opens.

Click New.
The New Data Source dialog opens.

In the Name field, type the name of the datasource (for example,
IFC).

Set the Adapter drop-down to
IDF Converter.

Click Configure.
The Configure IDF Adapter dialog opens.

From the CAD System drop-down, select
PDS.

Turn on the option to Auto Correct Wrong Weld Type.

Click OK to finish the configuration.
